Housing Officer
Housing Officer – Glasgow Housing Association
About Your New Company
A well-established Housing Association based in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for a housing professional to support a busy patch, delivering a high-quality tenancy management service within a community-focused organisation.
Your New Role
- Manage a designated housing patch, delivering a comprehensive tenancy management service
- Handle rent arrears, including:
- Monitoring accounts
- Taking appropriate recovery action
- Manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, including:
- Conducting investigations
- Working with partner agencies
- Conduct:
- Tenancy sign-ups
- Terminations
- Succession cases
- Permission to reside applications
- Carry out estate management duties, such as:
- Inspections
- Engagement with residents
- Respond to and resolve:
- Customer enquiries
- Complaints (effectively and efficiently)
- Liaise with:
- Internal teams
- External stakeholders
- Champion high standards of:
- Customer service
- Community engagement

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Your role requires:
- Previous experience in a Housing Officer or Housing Management role (ideally within a Housing Association)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Tenancy management
- Arrears recovery
- Anti-social behaviour (ASB) processes
- Outstanding communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to:
- Manage a varied workload
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence (desirable; not essential)
