A place to create moments that matter

Salary: £38,497 per annum (including car allowance)

Location: Peterborough, Hybrid with travel around your patch to meet customer needs (minimum 1 day a week in the office).

Permanent and 6 month Fixed Term Contract, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday between 8am and 6pm depending on customer needs.

Thousands of families across the country rely on our client for a safe, affordable home. And as the housing crisis deepens, the work they do has never been more important.

It's this belief - that everyone deserves a place to call home - that drives everything our client does. Together, they find new ways to understand and champion their customers, support them and drive positive change.

For a career that means more and makes a meaningful impact on society, this is the place to be.

About the role

Always motivated to deliver brilliant service, Housing Partners (Housing Officers) are the first point of contact for customers.

  • You'll be a visible presence in your patch, ensuring tenancies are well managed and supported.
  • Moving into a new home is an exciting life moment, and you'll play a key role in shaping a positive customer experience from the very start.

When things don't go to plan, you'll be there to make a difference. Working alongside customers, you'll take time to understand their circumstances and provide practical, empathetic support to help them sustain their tenancy and keep their home.

Building positive relationships is at the heart of what you do. You'll see the person behind the process, tailoring your approach to individual needs and vulnerabilities. Whether supporting customers with their rent, addressing anti-social behaviour with partner agencies, or resolving concerns, you'll focus on fair, human solutions that deliver the best outcomes.

You'll handle challenges with care and confidence, aiming to resolve issues early and positively. Legal action is always a last resort, used only when absolutely necessary, because your priority is helping customers stay in their homes.

Everything you do will be guided by a simple principle: housing is human, and every decision should reflect that.

Strong communication is key. You'll build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners, working collaboratively to support customers and communities to thrive, making moments that matter every day.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
