Are you a compassionate, motivated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? We are looking to welcome caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to our friendly team in Fleetwood, Lancashire.
Our supported housing service consists of 21 self-contained apartments across three sites, providing a safe, welcoming environment for people with complex needs and housing-related support needs. Our main site at Warrenhurst Court also includes a dedicated crisis unit, offering short-term accommodation and support for individuals in urgent need.
As a Support Worker, you will provide individualised, person-centred support to people with a range of complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, offending histories, and experiences of homelessness.
Working in a recovery-focused way, you will support residents to achieve positive outcomes by following personalized support plans and risk management plans, empowering them to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to live independently.
You will work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support, helping people to overcome barriers, sustain tenancies, live fulfilling lives.

- Supporting residents to improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
- Helping people sustain their tenancies and reduce the risk of homelessness.
- Encouraging the development of independent living skills, including budgeting, money management, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Supporting individuals to engage with landlords, accommodation providers.
- Signposting residents to other services that can help meet their needs.
- Supporting individuals with substance-misuse related issues where appropriate.
- Assisting people to access opportunities such as education, employment, training, healthcare, and community opportunities.
- Assist with pre-tenancy training, work readiness, Job Club activities, CV writing, interview preparation.
