The Role: HQ Stock Control Administrator
Salary: £25,350 per annum.
Location: Motorpoint, Champion House (Salisbury House), Wyvern Business Park, Derby DE21 6LY.
Contract Type: Maternity Cover - Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday.
This role supports day-to-day vehicle stock control and supplier recharge processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across key operational activities. This includes:
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Supporting vehicle damage assessments.
- Tracking refurbishment activity.
- Assisting with vehicle parts, keys, and general item purchasing.
- Updating systems and carrying out vehicle readiness checks.
- Acting as a collaborative hub for internal teams and external suppliers, resolving issues and facilitating smooth information flow to uphold operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Damage Assessments & Recharges: Complete damage assessments and support supplier recharging per agreed procedures.
- Refurb Tracking: Review refurb reports to verify actions, updates, and costs are accurately documented and processed.
- Parts Purchasing: Assist in acquiring vehicle parts, keys, or general items as needed.
- Bookpack Administration: Manage vehicle documentation, including tracking and logging Bookpack items, and addressing supplier queries on documentation posting.
- Customer Service & Reporting: Handle monthly reporting and maintain accurate records while contributing to Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets.
- Risk-Management & Audits:
- Conduct inventory audits (physical, parts, SD cards).
- Review exception reports, scan documents, and resolve discrepancies to keep records accurate and up to date.
- Supplier Management: Facilitate procurement, source cost-effective replacement parts, manage supplier relationships, and prepare supplier reports via regular contact.
- Collaborative Support:
- Help the Supply Chain team during peak periods.
- Flexibility to aid other areas as required, demonstrating resourcefulness in maintaining customer service excellence.

- No experience in customer service required, but a benefit if present.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a commitment to prompt resolutions.
- Proactive, personable attitude with a dedication to high standards in customer service.
