The Global Fintech Institute (GFI) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR, Admin & Finance Executive to support day-to-day business operations across human resources, finance, and administration. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience who can independently manage operational processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work across multiple functions to support financial controls, people operations, and internal administration, helping ensure that the organization runs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Manage and process vendor invoices, staff claims, and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate records for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, such as budget vs. actuals and cash flow summaries
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors for compliance and reporting

Human Resources (People & Culture)

  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including employment contracts, onboarding letters, and internal policies
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (HRIS)
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end
  • Support payroll preparation, including leave tracking and employee data validation
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and performance tracking

Administration & Operations

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas or minutes
  • Oversee office administration, vendor coordination, and procurement of supplies
  • Maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and filing systems
  • Act as a point of contact for internal administrative and operational queries
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives across HR and finance workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in HR, finance, or administrative roles
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and HR practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and/or HRIS tools is preferred
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in accounting, HR, or fintech-related fields are a plus
  • Experience working in startups, fintech, or fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with payroll processing, compliance, or audit support
