HR Administrative Assistant – Manchester
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our ambitious Human Resources team in Manchester.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the HR Administration function to support the global HR team, delivering a wide range of administrative services in line with company-wide processes and service level agreements. You will play a key part in the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to retirement, ensuring a seamless experience for all colleagues.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a broad administration service, supporting core HR lifecycle and payroll activities across multiple regions
- Accurately input and process new starters, employee changes, and leavers in HR and payroll systems, meeting all deadlines
- Routes employee and manager queries on HR processes, payroll, and system usage, offering clear guidance
- Liaise with in-house and outsourced payroll teams to investigate and resolve queries efficiently
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system functionality, improving overall efficiency

Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in customer service or administration within a professional or commercial environment
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Strong IT skills, including hands-on experience with HR systems and Excel—with the ability to analyse and manipulate data competently
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload while consistently meeting tight deadlines
- Familiarity with working to service level agreements in a strategic capacity
- Confidence in liaising with third-party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
