HR Administrator | Birmingham City Centre | Temporary Assignment | Immediate Start | £14 per hour
Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a global logistics organisation based in Birmingham City Centre who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Administrator to join their People team on an initial temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established international business during a busy period, supporting a fast-paced HR function where no two days are the same. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team, providing essential HR administration across the full employee lifecycle.
The Role
Reporting into the HR team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the HR function, delivering a high-quality administrative service to both employees and stakeholders across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
- Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters and HR documentation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and updating the HR system.
- Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries.
- Coordinating onboarding and pre-employment checks.
- Assisting with recruitment administration and interview scheduling.
- Supporting absence management administration and HR reporting.
- Producing regular HR reports and maintaining personnel files.
- Providing administrative support to the wider HR team and HR Business Partners.
- Ensuring all processes are completed accurately and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in an HR Administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently when required.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period.
