Reference

Rate: £23.60

Location: Halewood, hybrid

Contract: Inside IR35, (contract until June 2027)


Role Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employee Relations Operations Administrator to provide professional HR support across manufacturing facilities, with a primary focus on absence management. The successful candidate will support operational attendance performance, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the continuous improvement of Employee Relations services. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within Employee Relations.


Role & Responsibilities Of An HR Administrator

  • Support manufacturing-related absence cases to improve attendance and operational performance.
  • Provide timely support for both short and long-term absence cases, including restricted worker cases.
  • Identify cases requiring early intervention and implement appropriate support measures to reduce absence duration.
  • Assist with coordinating absence management training for stakeholders across the manufacturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Employee Relations Administrators to review and improve absence management processes and policies.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health to ensure timely interventions and effective employee support plans.
  • Promote employee wellbeing initiatives and available support services to reduce absence levels.
  • Support accurate absence reporting and provide data to assist trend analysis and decision making.
  • Build effective relationships with HR teams, managers and wider business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities within Employee Relations.
  • Undertake additional duties as required in support of the Employee Relations Operations Administrator role.

Requirements Of a HR Administrator

  • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers at all levels.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality HR support.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative whilst managing competing priorities.
  • Experience working effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good judgement, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Confident using HR systems and digital technologies.
