HR Administrator

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover. We are ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Are you an organised, customer-focused HR Administrator with experience working in a busy HR environment?

Join the People Team at BPAS as an HR Administrator and play a key role in delivering a responsive, professional and confidential HR service.

Supporting employees and managers across the employee lifecycle, you'll help ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with organisational policies and employment legislation.

This role is ideal for someone with previous HR administration experience who enjoys managing a varied workload, responding to high-volume queries and providing excellent customer service.

You'll maintain accurate employee records, prepare HR documentation, coordinate compliance activities and support key HR processes including onboarding, contractual changes, absence administration and leaver processes.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality. Experience working within a shared HR service or managing a busy shared inbox is highly desirable.

This is a hybrid working role, with attendance at our Head Office in Leamington Spa once a week. You will also be expected to travel to other BPAS locations when required.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide first-line HR advice and administrative support, escalating queries where appropriate.
  • Manage the People Team shared inbox, ensuring timely responses within agreed service levels.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data quality, confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, pre-employment checks, contractual changes, absence and family leave, pay and benefits, and leavers.
  • Prepare HR documentation including contracts, offer letters, references and other correspondence.
  • Coordinate compliance checks including Right to Work, DBS, professional registration and Occupational Health requirements.
  • Produce routine HR reports and support audits, inspections and workforce compliance activity.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
