HR Adviser FTC

Site HR Adviser – Fixed-Term Contract Contract type: Fixed-term until 31st December 2026 Location: Skelmersdale

At Müller Milk & Ingredients, we power Britain’s dairy supply chain, working with 1,000+ farmers to deliver milk, cream, butter and ingredients enjoyed daily by millions. As Site HR Adviser, you’ll lead a transformational integration project—guiding colleagues through change while fostering a high-performing, people-first culture.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Project integration support: Oversee a key site integration, ensuring smooth, compliant, and positive colleague transitions during a period of change.
  • End-to-end TUPE coordination: Lead employee engagement, communications, and transitional planning from start to finish.
  • On-site delivery: Organise roadshows, briefings, and Q&A sessions—keeping teams informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
  • Direct colleague support: Provide 1:1 guidance on new systems (e.g., digital payslips) and ways of working.
  • Compliance & data management: Ensure right-to-work checks are completed and employee records transition seamlessly from paper to digital formats.
  • Recruitment transition: Own local recruitment activity during the integration, ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Leadership partnership: Collaborate with site leadership to maintain engagement, performance, and stability in an evolving structure.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a confident HR professional with: 🔹 Generalist HR experience (ideally in a fast-paced or operational setting). 🔹 A current or aspiring role as an HR Officer/Advisor seeking to step up in responsibility. 🔹 Proven experience supporting organisational change, TUPE, or integration projects—whether within HR, operations, or a related field. 🔹 Strong stakeholder & communication skills—able to build rapid trust and engage at all levels. 🔹 A resilient, hands-on mindset, thriving under pressure with a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach. 🔹 Ideally: CIPD qualified (or working towards) with up-to-date employment law knowledge.
