HR Advisor

Location: Head Office, Moorgate, London Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

Starting Pay: £30,000 per annum

About the Role

Join our Apricot team as an HR Advisor! We’re looking for a friendly, practical and confident professional to support our multi-disciplinary teams—warehouse, retail, field and head office—with day-to-day people matters.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor, resolving HR queries, employee relations issues, administration and recruitment, while ensuring our HR systems and processes run smoothly. Variety is key to our role: you’ll be the go-to for managers and teams when they need guidance, support, and pragmatic solutions.

This owner-led business values innovation and collaboration. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where ideas are welcomed, relationships matter and real impact is made, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Systems

  • Handle HR queries from retail, warehouse, field, and head office teams—escalate when extra support is needed.
  • Manage key employee documents, including:
    • Contracts and changes
    • Flexible working requests
    • Disciplinary paperwork
    • References, maternity paperwork, and lifecycle documentation
  • Maintain HR and payroll systems for new starters, pay updates, contract changes, and leavers.
  • Support managers with onboarding and offboarding, streamlining processes with HR technology.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce administrative burdens.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
