The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established, growing organisation that is investing heavily in its people agenda and building capability across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to broaden their generalist experience, gain exposure to strategic people initiatives and work closely with senior stakeholders.
You'll join a collaborative People team where you'll have the opportunity to influence, challenge and develop your career, supporting a diverse operational workforce across multiple sites. With ongoing change, transformation and development projects underway, this role offers genuine variety and the chance to make a visible impact.
This role is initially a 12-month FTC which offers genuine development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice and support across a broad range of people matters.
- Partner with managers and leaders to deliver effective people solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Coach and support managers on employee relations issues including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Advise on recruitment, organisational design and workforce planning activities.
- Support change programmes, restructures and wider people projects.
- Analyse people data and trends to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership teams.
- Work collaboratively with internal HR colleagues to ensure an outstanding employee experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies and practices.

Ideal candidate
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
- Proven HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering experience within a complex organisation.
- Strong employee relations knowledge with the confidence to coach and influence managers.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance business needs with best practice.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Previous experience within operational, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or unionised environments would be advantageous.

Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HR professional who enjoys partnering with the business, building capability and driving positive people outcomes. The successful candidate will work alongside a supportive HR team, can be based from Castleford or North Allerton.
