We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our lovely People Services team here at HealthNet.

Main Responsibilities
- Support managers with all matters relating to employee relations at the earliest opportunity, providing specialist employee relations advice in the management of both informal and formal processes and attend meetings/hearing as and when required.
- Where appropriate, lead on investigations, hearings, drive case resolution.
- Respond, as a first line advisor, to HR-related queries raised by employees and managers across the business.
- Assist all members of the HR function in providing a comprehensive HR administration service.
- Support the full employee administration activity in the absence of the HR Administrator including conducting the relevant pre-employment, compliance, and referencing checks.
- Support Recruitment, Onboarding, and Learning & Development activity, including supporting and preparation of induction activities/days.
- Work with managers to address issues such as absence levels and support to effectively manage this through the use of management information and Occupational Health provisions.
- Monitor and support probation reviews.
- Managing in conjunction with the HR Administrator and ownership of the HR shared inbox.
- Assisting with HR reports and reporting/ad hoc requests for the wider business function.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new projects.
- Carry out general administration tasks for the function, for example, responding to reference requests, employee requests, booking occupational health appointments, booking probationary and CPD reviews, taking and typing notes at meetings, and ensuring all filing & archiving (paper-based and electronic) is completed in a timely manner.

What experience and skills are we looking for?
Essential
- At least 2 years' proven experience in a HR Advisory or ER position
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role and HR function
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and applying them fairly and consistently

Qualifications?
- CIPD Level 3
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
Personal Skills & Qualities:
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to work well using own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing circumstances, and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work with line managers to develop their HR skills using a coaching approach
- Ability to ensure that sensitive employee relations issues are appropriately resolved, preventing undue escalation
- Experience and understanding of all Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently
