Group Metropolitan was founded in 1985 as an electrical contractor carrying out small moves and changes projects for a select few clients. Over the past 35 years, we have grown into a turnkey Principal Contractor offering in-house tradespeople, with a projected turnover of £80M. This has been achieved by working collaboratively with our clients to understand their needs and become an extension of their business, expanding our service offerings and geography to meet the expectations required. Whilst the business has seen organic growth over the years, our core values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, and People, remain the same.

About The Role

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused HR Advisor. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compliance, and administration. The successful candidate will be confident building relationships with managers and employees, enjoy solving problems, and be passionate about creating a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes remain compliant and efficient.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
