This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career, who brings strong foundational knowledge, a passion for people, and the confidence to take ownership of tasks while continually learning.
You’ll play a hands-on role across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations, engagement, delivering high-quality HR administration, and spearheading communication to employees on relevant topics.
Key Responsibilities

Help foster an open, positive working environment by supporting early resolution of concerns and encouraging constructive dialogue.
- Employee Engagement: Coordinate on-site engagement activities that reinforce our Great Place to Work culture. Partner with our employee resource groups to deliver an annual calendar of events and initiatives. Bring fresh ideas to enhance connection, recognition, and team culture.
- HR Administration & Process Excellence: Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, ensuring data integrity across all systems. Process job changes, promotions, and adjustments with precision. Prepare reports, trackers, and documentation that support decision-making and compliance. Look for opportunities to streamline and simplify administrative processes.
- Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle: Deliver a smooth, welcoming onboarding experience for all new starters. Support coordination of training sessions, workshops, and development activities. Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and data handling.
- People Data & Insights: Use HR data and reporting to identify trends and provide insight that supports business performance. Contribute to dashboards, analysis, and data-driven recommendations.
- HR Projects & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the HR team on projects that enhance our HR offering, strengthen engagement, or improve processes. Contribute ideas and challenge ways of working with a forward-thinking, solution-oriented mindset.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
