About The Role
The HR Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the launch of a significant new project within the organization. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to manage day-to-day HR operations, provide strategic guidance to managers and employees, and ensure compliance with employment legislation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment processes, and supporting onboarding and training initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the HR Advisor will also line-manage an HR Administrator, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-impact project, with potential flexibility for remote working after the initial training period.

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment law within the UK
- Relevant experience in managing employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration
- Proven track record of handling HR casework, developing HR strategies, and implementing initiatives that align with business goals
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and data analysis tools
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent handling in compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting accurate job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting hiring decisions.
- Coordinate onboarding activities by preparing new starter documentation, facilitating induction programs, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives and enhance employee engagement.
- Organize and support training and development programs aimed at improving employee skills, performance, and career progression.
- Prepare detailed HR reports and conduct data analysis to inform management decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
