HR Advisor opportunity based near to Chawston with a leading construction equipment and industrial machinery business offering £32,000-£35,000, company car and excellent benefits.

About the Role:
As an HR Advisor, you will provide professional, proactive HR support to managers and employees, ensuring best practice across the employee lifecycle while helping to create a positive workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
- Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and current UK employment legislation.
- Assisting with investigations, meetings and HR documentation.
- Supporting learning and development initiatives where required.
- Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Building strong working relationships with managers across multiple departments.
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects within the HR function.
About You:
To be successful as an HR Advisor, you'll have previous experience in a generalist HR role and enjoy working closely with managers to provide practical, commercial HR support.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor or within a similar HR generalist position.
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- A CIPD Level 3 or CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence in managing a varied workload and building relationships across the business.
- A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
