HR Advisor – National Distribution Centre, Rotherham

About the Role

Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to the independent automotive aftermarket in Europe. Operating across the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and the Netherlands, AAG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (GPC), the largest worldwide automotive parts distributor.

AAG’s global network supports thousands of customers across Europe via:

  • 80 distribution centres

  • 7,590 repair centres

With a 3.1 billion euro revenue and 17,000+ employees, AAG is a dynamic organisation committed to excellence.

We are seeking a HR Advisor to join our team in Rotherham, based at our new National Distribution Centre. This hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote) requires an employee relations specialist to handle complex cases, provide strategic guidance, and support a multi-site workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume employee relations cases from initial intake to resolution, ensuring timely compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations into complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, interviewing stakeholders and assessing credibility of claims.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on disciplinary processes, performance management, and conflict resolution while fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement tailored action plans, including disciplinary policies, performance improvement plans (PIPs), or corrective measures.
  • Deliver training to managers on employee relations best practices, conflict resolution, and workforce engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and support absence management, collaborating with occupational health if required, to align with organisational policies.
  • Ensure consistent alignment with AAG’s group-wide values and initiatives across local sites.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
