Salary: £30,321.51 – £36,689.03 (dependent on location, skills and experience)
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our People Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service, providing expert guidance across a broad range of people matters.
Working closely with managers and colleagues, you'll support employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance activities. You'll act as a trusted advisor, helping to ensure best practice is embedded across the organisation while contributing to initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Support managers with a range of complex employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, capability, and grievance processes.
- Promote effective use of HR systems and self-service tools, coaching managers where required.
- Assist in the delivery of annual performance review and salary review processes.
- Manage sickness absence reporting, occupational health referrals, and compliance-related activities.
- Provide support with HR systems, reporting requirements, and payroll administration.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and policy development initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and experience, ideally within a multi-site organisation.
- Up-to-date understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Confidence in managing complex and sensitive cases professionally and independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach to work.
