ISS is a leading service provider in the UK Fresh Produce sector. Since 2014, we have grown to operate four sites across Kent, employing over 1,300 colleagues. We are looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Advisor to join our HR team and support managers and employees across the business.

About The Role

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will provide proactive HR support across a range of employee relations matters. Working closely with managers, you will help ensure our people practices are applied consistently, fairly and in line with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management cases.
  • Coach and support managers on people management and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee relations documentation.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR systems are maintained accurately and resolve system-related queries.
  • Monitor HR trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Support HR administrative activities and departmental objectives.
  • Contribute to daily meetings and provide updates on HR activities.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence coaching and influencing managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD (desirable).
  • Lead by example by demonstrating our company values in your day-to-day work.
