HR Advisor

Location: Worsley

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-growing and successful business based in Worsley, Manchester.

This is an exciting time to join a rapidly expanding organisation with a strong customer following and an ambitious growth strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the business across all areas of HR operations, providing first-line advice and guidance to managers and employees while ensuring a high-quality employee experience.

This is a varied and hands-on HR role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing a broad range of HR activities including employee relations, recruitment, payroll support, onboarding, training, reporting, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters
  • Support employee relations processes including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance issues, and flexible working requests
  • Ensure HR processes remain compliant with UK employment legislation and company policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of employment contracts, HR letters, and change documentation
  • Support payroll processing and resolve payroll-related queries
  • Manage recruitment activity including job adverts, agency liaison, interview coordination, and onboarding
  • Deliver and support new starter inductions
  • Assist with appraisals, reporting, and performance management processes
  • Analyse time and attendance data, identify trends, and support improvements
  • Support training needs analysis and HR development initiatives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of HR processes
  • Provide administrative support for formal meetings, including note-taking
  • Support health and safety initiatives across the business

About You:

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional who is confident working independently and enjoys being involved across the full employee lifecycle.

You will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a HR department
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment practices and HR processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence working under pressure within a fast-moving environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • A diplomatic and approachable style with the ability to build effective relationships
