Job Description
Position Overview & Purpose:
The EMEAA HR Advisor works closely with the EMEAA HR Business Partner, supporting the management of HR activities across the EMEAA Business Unit. The role contributes to delivering HR services to all EMEAA employees outside Italy, USA, and Canada, and supports colleagues and People Managers within the UK-based AEI HUB, in coordination with the UK HR team and Regional HR Business Partners.
The role combines strong responsibility in international HR Operations with contribution in HR Business Partnering, specifically:
- Providing expert knowledge and guidance on Asahi’s UK-based HR processes, policies, and practices, acting as a key point of contact for EMEAA HRBP and HUB HR Business Partners in executing administrative and transactional HR activities
- Contributing to the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with business priorities, providing operational support in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and support to compensation & benefits
- Managing HOPS modules across EMEAA entities, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and maintenance of HR systems and employee data.
- Support in managing EMEAA’s international HR Operations, payroll and benefits (outside USA and Canada)
- Supporting data-driven decision-making through HR metrics analysis and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. With a proactive and collaborative mindset, the role helps foster a positive work environment and supports the development of a strong organizational culture
What You Will Deliver (Key Deliverables & Responsibilities)
All EMEAA with focus on EMEAL - (currently Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain and Colombia)
- Support the EMEAA HR Business Partner and Line Managers in the execution of key people processes, including talent management, performance management, learning & development, talent acquisition, compensation and workforce planning.
- Partner with managers on day-to-day people matters, providing HR guidance and support on organizational changes, promotions, role moves, employee relations topics and employee communications.
- Coordinate the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, mobility activities and offboarding processes.
- Collect, analyse and report HR data and insights to support business decision-making, people planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of regional and global HR initiatives, ensuring effective communication and execution across the organization.
- Manage international payroll and benefits administration through local providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a positive employee experience.
- Own the implementation and maintenance of international HR policies and processes, partnering with local advisors to ensure alignment with local legislation and AEI standards.
- Act as EMEAA subject matter expert for HOPS modules, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity and effective HR systems management.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in line with local legal requirements, company standards and data privacy regulations.
- Coordinate international relocation and mobility activities, liaising with the HUB Mobility team and external providers.
- Monitor completion of mandatory compliance and corporate training programmes across the region.
- Support the delivery of employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion, and volunteering initiatives

- Provide local HR operational expertise and support for UK employees and managers, working closely with UK HR Operations and HUB HRBPs to ensure the effective delivery of UK-specific processes, policies and employee-related activities.
- Support the management of AEI Sponsor Licences and associated immigration and right-to-work activities, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
- Provide advice and operational support on UK employment legislation and local HR practices, acting as the local subject matter expert for managers and HRBPs on UK-specific employment matters.
Academic Background
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- University/Bachelor degree (or equivalent) preferred
- Part qualified or qualified CIPD or equivalent HR qualification
Experience
- Partly or fully CIPD qualified (level 5 or above)
- 3-5 years of experience working within HR function (preferably with advisory experience) in an international corporate environment.
- Experience supporting managers across a broad range of HR activities and managing employee lifecycle processes end-to-end
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and Employee Relations practices, including disciplinary and grievance processes, performance management, absence management, redundancy processes and employee terminations.
- Experience working with HR systems and employee data management, with strong attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Experience supporting change or transformation initiatives is an advantage
- Strong learning agility and ability to work effectively with remote and cross-cultural teams across different countries
- Proficiency in English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience working with HR systems, preferably SAP Success Factors
