About the Role
Sevenoaks School is currently seeking to appoint a HR Advisor (Full-time, all year round).
We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused HR Advisor to deliver a high-quality, professional HR service across the school.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Advisor will be responsible for:
- Providing expert HR support and guidance to senior leadership and employees
- Ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies
- Managing and advising on employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievances
- Handling sensitive HR matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Supporting recruitment, on-boarding, and HR policy development
- Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring adherence to high standards of accuracy

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or practical equivalent)
- Strong employment law knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to build effective working relationships in a school environment
- Proven experience in providing advisory HR services
