HR Advisor – Sevenoaks School

About the Role

Sevenoaks School is currently seeking to appoint a HR Advisor (Full-time, all year round).

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused HR Advisor to deliver a high-quality, professional HR service across the school.


Key Responsibilities

The HR Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert HR support and guidance to senior leadership and employees
  • Ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies
  • Managing and advising on employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievances
  • Handling sensitive HR matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Supporting recruitment, on-boarding, and HR policy development
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring adherence to high standards of accuracy

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or practical equivalent)
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to build effective working relationships in a school environment
  • Proven experience in providing advisory HR services
