Your Impact:
You’ll play a key role in shaping a smooth, engaging employee journey while supporting managers and driving people excellence across the business.
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience - coordinate pre-employment checks, vetting, and inductions in partnership with L&D and hiring managers Be a trusted advisor to managers - provide first-line guidance on people queries and support employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance) alongside the HR Business Partner Build strong relationships - develop a deep understanding of teams to spot trends, challenges, and opportunities early Use data to drive decisions - analyse people metrics (attrition, engagement, performance) and turn insights into meaningful action Keep HR operations running smoothly - maintain HRIS data, manage employee lifecycle changes, and oversee benefits and admin processes with accuracy and efficiency Continuously improve processes - identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual or inefficient ways of working Partner with Talent Acquisition - ensure a smooth, high-quality post-offer journey through to day one and beyond Enhance employee experience - contribute to engagement initiatives, survey follow-ups, and ongoing improvements

You will be a great fit if you have:
Strong organisational skills - able to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks with ease Excellent communication - clear, empathetic, and able to influence and guide stakeholders confidently A proactive, solutions-led mindset - you don’t just spot problems, you solve them, balancing people needs with business outcomes Sound judgement under pressure - calm, professional, and focused when handling sensitive situations High attention to detail - delivering accurate, high-quality work consistently A confidential and professional approach - trusted with sensitive information and situations Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice Problem-solving capability - able to think critically and make informed decisions quickly
Experience & Qualifications:
CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience) Previous experience in a HR Generalist, Administrator, or similar role Experience using HR systems and managing employee data and documentation Practical knowledge of applying employment law and implementing changes Experience using people data (e.g. engagement, attrition, performance) to inform decisions Exposure to People/HR initiatives such as engagement, culture, or organisational change Experience working in fast-paced or evolving environments, with the ability to improve or build processes
Tech & Tools:
Experience with HRIS platforms (HiBob experience is a plus) Bonus: familiarity with ATS platforms (ideally Ashby) to support post-offer processes

Compensation Range: £35K - £40K
