HR Advisor

Company Description

Human Resources (HR) Advisor Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping a workplace where leaders thrive, people decisions are fair and inclusive?

We’re looking for an additional experienced and confident HR Advisor to join the Rexel team.

We are very proud of our engaged, positive and dynamic people team, which includes dedicated people services assistants, HR advisors and HR business partners. Our people team also benefits from having dedicated recruitment business partners, a communication team, rewards team and payroll team to support our growing branch network and wonderful supply chain.

In this pivotal hybrid working role, you’ll work closely with leaders to enhance their capability in all aspects of people management. By providing expert guidance and fostering an environment of unbiased, inclusive, and capability-based decision-making, you’ll help drive optimal people solutions that benefit both individuals and the organisation.

We understand the need for flexibility and are delighted to offer hybrid working for this role (60% at our branches/state of the art distribution centre in Aylesbury and some days at our Eagle Court offices in Sheldon, Birmingham), with 40% of your time remote working from home. There is a requirement to be flexible, as there will be some travel with the role (approximately 60% on-site and 40% from home).

Your mission will also include proactively reducing formal cases by equipping leaders with the tools and confidence to address challenges effectively and constructively. Together, we’ll create a culture where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. Experience in supply chain would be beneficial but not essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
