About the Role
To support the HR Advisor with providing first line HR support to all areas of the business across DMG to implement best practice employee relations, policies and procedures. Based in the Leicester Office, the role will report to the HR Advisor. There will be a requirement to support the wider HR Business Service Support team. The role may involve some travel to include our London office.
Main Responsibilities
- Employee Relations (ER) – Supporting the HR Advisor and business with the preparation and support for ER cases to include Grievances, Disciplinaries, Performance Management etc.
- Involuntary leavers – Supporting the involuntary leaver process from creating initial calculations to producing settlement agreements and ensuring a smooth administrative exit is carried out.
- Family Leave - Supporting the HR Advisor and business, with all meetings, letter confirming plans, initial contact before return, creating Maternity leave packs and sending business updates to employees during leave.
- Sickness - Notification of end of OSP or SSP, sickness reporting and trend analysis in conjunction with the HR Advisor.
- Business Reporting - Headcount, starters/leavers and org charts etc.
- DSAR’s – Supporting and coordinating requests.
- Support with continuous improvement of HR team processes and maintaining and creating standard operation procedures.
- Responding to ad hoc queries via the central mailbox and workload management tool and be included in the ServiceNow Rota. To include responding to; holiday entitlement, contract clauses, absence reporting, benefit entitlement or requests.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required.
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all systems and personnel records to include Workday.

Person Specification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a high level and understanding of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills.
- Proactive, willing to independently manage their workload and actively contribute new ideas and suggestions.
- HR system knowledge and experience.
