Excellent opportunity for a HR Advisor to partner with line managers to create and implement HR strategies that drive their objectives, ensuring legal compliance and best practices. You'll be guiding managers on HR policies, handle employee relations, and champion smooth recruitment. Building strong customer relationships, data crunching, and working on exciting projects for business growth are in your remit. You can also find in this role you will be dealing with a variety of task from training to data analysis and even project due diligence, you're at the heart of a dynamic HR operation team, making a real impact, driving for continuous improvement. This is a hybrid variable role requiring travel to either our Leeds, Salford, London or Southampton office 1 – 2 times per month.
What you will be doing: Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues, supporting managers in using the full range of HR policies (e.g. grievance, disciplinary), to ensure matters are handled appropriately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements. Work with line managers in the business and the wider HR team, to help assess needs and design, deliver and evaluate HR initiatives that enable them to achieve their business objectives, are legally compliant, and reflect best practice. Advise and coach managers on how best to interpret and apply HR policies and processes to ensure that they are applied correctly and do not expose the Company to risk (financial, reputational etc.) but are adapted to the individual case and support the line manager in achieving objectives. Support hiring managers with recruitment activity to ensure we are attracting and retaining the best talent whilst maintaining a positive candidate experience. Establish and maintain internal/external customer relationships to ensure a high level of service is provided. Develop and deliver training courses and other learning events to employees/managers to reinforce or launch HR related activities. Involvement in ad-hoc projects with wider HR Team to support business strategic aims i.e. employee engagement and new business What you’ll bring: Experience working as an HR Advisor in a fast-moving sophisticated organization is essential, supporting multiple locations across the UK with associated travel as necessary is highly beneficial. Sound up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice. Experienced HR practitioner who can demonstrate a track record in complex case management spanning multiple terms and conditions sets Experience of managing and delivering HR and engagement projects Good communicator with good facilitation skills, comfortable working with and able to influence management teams. Ability to work remotely and across dispersed teams. It would be great if you had: CIPD qualification or working towards Experience working with complex TUPE populations.
