Basware is accelerating the evolution of its HR function, and we are now looking for an HR AI & Technology Lead to help shape how HR work is delivered in the age of artificial intelligence.
In this strategic role, you will work at the intersection of HR, technology, data, and business transformation. You will help our HR teams adopt AI-enabled ways of working, improve decision-making, and unlock greater value from our HR technology and data ecosystem.
Working closely with HR leaders, IT, Security, Data teams, and external partners, you will drive Basware's HR AI roadmap and help transform how HR delivers value to employees, managers, and the business.
This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about the future of work and excited by the opportunity to help redefine how HR operates in a global SaaS company.
Your role
As HR AI & Technology Lead, you will:
- Develop and lead Basware's HR AI roadmap and adoption strategy.
- Identify opportunities where AI can simplify, automate, and improve HR processes and employee experiences.
- Act as the HR function's trusted expert on AI, technology, and people data.
- Own and evolve the HR technology landscape in partnership with IT and external vendors.
- Improve HR data quality, governance, reporting, and accessibility.
- Design and deliver AI learning programs, guidance, and practical use cases for HR teams.
- Lead pilots and innovation initiatives that demonstrate measurable business value.
- Establish governance and best practices for responsible AI adoption within HR.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a transformation-oriented professional who combines HR expertise with technology, AI, and change leadership capabilities:
- Experience in HR, HR Technology, Digital HR, HR Transformation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Practical experience applying AI, analytics, or digital solutions in business environments.
- Experience working with HR systems, data, reporting, and technology vendors.
- Proven track record leading change, innovation, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and capability-building skills.
- Curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and passion for emerging technologies.
- Fluency in English.
