HR & Culture Manager (Part-time, Standalone)
📍 Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid 2 days/wk in office)
⏱ 25 hours a week (Mon-Fri)

The Opportunity
This is a standalone HR role where you’ll take full ownership of people & culture, working closely with the CEO and leadership team.
You’ll combine hands-on HR delivery with shaping culture and engagement, making a genuine impact across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full employee lifecycle (recruitment → onboarding → development → exit)
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and managers
- Manage employee relations and provide confident employment law guidance
- Ensure HR policies and processes are compliant and effective
- Drive engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives
- Improve HR systems, processes, and overall employee experience

- Proven experience in a standalone HR / People role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER
- Confident working independently and taking ownership
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Someone who cares about people, culture, and doing things well
