Salary

£35,000–£40,000 (pro rata)

Hours

37.5–40 hours per week (part-time considered)

Contract

Temporary (Ongoing)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supported the HR Director with daily HR operations, administration, and ongoing HR projects.
  • Provided HR guidance to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Assisted with recruitment, onboarding, employment contracts, offer letters, inductions, and maintaining job descriptions.
  • Supported employee relations by preparing documentation, attending disciplinary and grievance meetings, taking confidential notes, and assisting with absence and performance management.
  • Helped develop, review, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring employee handbooks remained up to date and legally compliant.
  • Coordinated training activities, monitored mandatory training compliance, and supported employee development and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Maintained accurate HR records while handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent HR experience).
  • Experience in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information.
