About The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our dedicated HR team at Love & Tate Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their career in human resources within a professional legal environment. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and maintaining accurate employee records for a staff population of approximately 250 individuals. The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements after initial training, with a minimum of three days in the office each week, fostering a balanced work-life environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting HR functions, preferably within a professional services or legal setting. A solid understanding of HR processes, employee record management, and HRIS systems is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively respond to routine HR queries and coordinate various initiatives. The candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field is desirable but not mandatory. A proactive attitude and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system and other databases.
- Respond promptly to routine HR inquiries from staff, providing clear and professional support.
- Coordinate training sessions and qualifications for trainee attorneys, ensuring compliance and tracking progress.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including assisting with documentation, reports, and correspondence.
- Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including completing checks, preparing induction materials, and tracking probation periods.
- Assist with employee relations cases by preparing documentation and working closely with the Senior HR Advisor.
- Act as the central point of contact for HRIS system queries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity.
- Support training registration processes and logistical arrangements for internal development programs.
- Contribute to the firm's mental health initiatives, equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing programs, fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as required, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The role offers standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements after the initial training period.
