About the Role
The HR Assistant provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources function, ensuring accurate management of employee data, systems, and processes across the full employee lifecycle. This role acts as a key first point of contact for HR-related queries and plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, supporting operational efficiency, and delivering a high-quality employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems (e.g. SAGE / My BABW Hub)
- Support the Senior HR Administrator with Processing all employee lifecycle changes
- Update records for pay changes, reviews, and personal details
- Support the Senior HR administrator in ensuring all data is accurate, up to date, and compliant with legislation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries (stores and head office)
- Manage the UKHR Central inbox
- Respond to queries relating to systems, employee records, and HR processes
- Support onboarding processes including new starter setup and documentation
- Manage leaver processes and ensure accurate system updates
- Support payroll with any required integration actions and data management
- Complete any audit and compliance requirements
- Ownership of GDPR training
- Administration of anniversary milestones across the business
- Assist the HRM with ER related actions and case management
- Assisting the field and HR Manager with outcome letters
- Ownership of the monthly HR data pack
- Completion of monthly system Integration actions
- Organisation of HR policies in Sage/ Bearnet
- Any other reasonable duty as requested by the HRM

Required Qualifications
- 2 years of HR Administration or equivalent experience
- CIPD Level 3-5 desirable

Working Environment
- UK Corporate Office is located in Slough; occasional travel may be required to UK stores
- Hybrid working available, 3 days in Slough Office and 2 days work from home.
