HR Business Partner – East Region
Location: Leeds Office (with regular travel across sites throughout the East Region – North East to East Midlands)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent – Office / site based
Shape the Future of People and Performance
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our Construction business, supporting the East Region.
This is a true business partnering role, working closely with the Regional Senior Leadership Team to deliver people solutions that drive operational performance, organisational effectiveness and sustainable business growth. You'll be part of a wider HR team but have significant autonomy, acting as the trusted HR lead for your region and influencing decisions at senior leadership level.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with Regional Directors and senior leaders to shape and deliver the regional people strategy.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR guidance.
- Diagnosing business and people challenges, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Leading and supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and transformation programmes.
- Driving engagement, talent management, succession planning and workforce planning activities.
- Influencing leadership teams to build high-performing, inclusive and accountable cultures.
- Using people data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting leaders through complex employee relations matters and organisational change.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a confident and credible HR professional who can quickly build trust and influence decision-making at all levels.
You'll Bring
- Strong HR Business Partnering experience supporting multi-site operations in a fast-paced environment, and while experience in construction / built environment would be valuable, we are equally interested in candidates who can bring fresh perspectives from other industries.
- A successful track record of delivering organisational change and transformation initiatives.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership teams and influencing business decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong coaching, challenge and influencing capability.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to translate business challenges into people solutions.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience).
