About The Role

NOTE: this role is for an initial 6 month contract

Our HR roles in country provide strategic business partnering support to business leaders to align the people agenda with our business strategy. You’ll work with our HR shared services team and centres of excellence to advise and coach the UK business on things such as culture, workforce planning, development, talent and succession, workforce analytics, organisational design, change management and employee relations issues.

Your responsibilities

  • Partner with the leaders and the UK HR team to drive business value through our people. Implement effective HR solutions based on the HR strategy and local business objectives.
  • Providing advice and support to management on all aspects of HR programs and activities
  • Deliver the global and NEU HR strategy
  • Partner and advise leaders on people topics:
  • Support efficient and effective organisational design and change management initiatives
  • Use strong commercial acumen to drive the people agenda
  • Drive employee reference groups and culture initiatives and positive relationships between the business and our people
  • Provide workforce analytics to anticipate challenges, opportunities, and trends
  • Hold and coach on courageous conversations to do the right thing in our business
  • Drive completion of business-as-usual HR processes such as cyclical training, PDR milestones, PDPs, pay reviews

Partner with leaders on all aspects of the employee life cycle, including:

  • Working with the talent acquisition team to recruit and onboard new hires
  • Facilitate the completion of talent and succession plans
  • Manage employee relations issues and risks
  • Ensure leaders and have culture action plans for their teams
  • Managing people cost and planning for the future
  • Deliver global leadership programmes and partner with talent COE to adapt global development programmes to local needs
  • Ensure compliance with all local labour laws and global HR policies
  • Implement agreed reward systems in line with global policies and tools; lead and participate in benchmarking and updating market compensation including recommendations to HRD
  • HR project work that may span EUANZ

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience working in a highly commercial, business is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end HR generalist activities and ability to work independently as part of a geographically separate team
  • Commitment to driving diversity and inclusion.
