Join us as we continue this journey, offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner to work with our Supply Chain teams across three sites in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a positive and engaging work culture while delivering proactive HR solutions and supporting business objectives. Core responsibilities include:
HR Business Partner Support
- Serve as the primary HR lead for NI Supply Chain, providing strategic support across people management, culture development, engagement, employee/industrial relations (ER/IR), performance management, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate, measure, and enhance team effectiveness, motivation, and HR practices, while fostering trust within the organisation.
- Advise on HR policies, employment law, and IR, ensuring alignment with best practices and legislative changes (e.g., National Minimum Wage updates).
- Lead Employment Tribunal processes as required and act as a confidential point of contact for employees, resolving issues and guiding problem-solving.
- Engage with union representatives to manage IR issues effectively, ensuring smooth operations while supporting business goals.
- Support HR-wide initiatives and lead cross-network HR projects.

Resourcing, Budgets, and Payroll
- Assist Supply Chain Management teams in identifying and addressing resource needs, coordinating recruitment activities (interviewing, onboarding support).
- Work with Finance and Resourcing teams to review and approve weekly/salaried payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with legislative changes.
People Management
- Lead the team in setting objectives, performance reviews, development plans, and succession strategies to *retain and grow skilled talent.
- Ensure the team operates in line with Musgrave’s values, with the right skill sets, support, and resources to drive business success.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- 5+ years’ experience as an HR Manager/Business Partner in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years’ experience managing Industrial Relations (IR), union relations, and resolving employee relations (ER) issues.
- A third-level qualification in Business, HR, or a related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of employment law, with the ability to provide confident, compliant advice.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with proven influence across all organisational levels.
- Strong coaching abilities, relationship-building skills, and the capacity to bridge stakeholder expectations.
- Proven project management and change programme experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organisation, and multitasking abilities.
- CIPD membership (a plus).
- Full driving license.
