HR Business Partner

HR Advisor (Part-time, Hybrid) – Neasden Head Office

Reports to: Business and Operations Director Department: HR Location: Neasden Head Office Contract: Full-time, Hybrid (1 day from home per week) Application Deadline: 10th July 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our team in a dynamic role that offers robust growth and progression opportunities. Working closely with the Business & Operations Director and our external HR Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting senior leaders, managers, and employees while shaping and developing our people, policies, and organisational culture.

This position is ideal for a CIPD Level 5 (or above) HR professional with a passion for relationship-building and an interest in contributing across diverse HR functions. While the role is at an Advisor level, we seek individuals with leadership potential and ambition to develop into a more senior HR position within the business over time.


Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Leadership Support

  • Work closely with the Business & Operations Director and HR Consultant to align HR practices with broader business goals.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that drive operational excellence.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders and managers on employee relations, policy compliance, and talent development.

Learning & Development

  • Collaborate with the Business & Operations Director to identify training needs and development opportunities.
  • Manage employee training, including planning, scheduling, and follow-up communications.
  • Ensure alignment with career progression plans and individual development goals.

Workforce Planning & Recruitment

  • Support workforce planning by analysing skill gaps and resource needs in conjunction with the Business & Operations Director.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including identifying hiring requirements and contributing to the interview process.
  • Proactively manage the talent pipeline and recruitment strategy.

Policy Compliance & HR Systems

  • Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current, compliant, and aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Improve and update the HRIS (HR Information System), identifying efficiencies and exploring new functionalities.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for employees, including performance, leave, and compliance documentation.

Employee Relations & Communication

  • Address complex employee relations issues in collaboration with leadership and the HR Consultant.
  • Establish a strong internal communication framework, including newsletters, updates, and legislative notifications.
  • Serve as the very first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.

Daily HR Support

  • Provide day-to-day HR support, including managing employment contracts, invoices, and employee correspondence.
  • Handle performance management, including appraisals, feedback discussions, and underperformance cases.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes in alignment with company standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for health and safety compliance, including risk assessments, first aid, and fire safety protocols.

Payroll & Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with payroll teams to ensure accurate employee data submission.
  • Ensure seamless integration between HR systems, payroll, and IT for streamlined operations.

About You

To excel in this role, we are looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in HR ( Qualifikation in Human Resources ist Pflicht).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a small to mid-sized, fast-growing company.
  • Strong professional ambition with a desire to take on growing responsibilities over time.
  • Deep knowledge of employment legislation, contract law, and HR best practices.
  • Proficient with HRIS and Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills – you must earn the trust of colleagues at all levels.
  • Self-directed and proactive – able to drive initiatives while seeking guidance when needed.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational, problem-solving, and problem-resolution abilities.
