This is an exceptional, exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our People and Education Directorate at a time of significant ambition, transformation and change. As a newly created HR Business Partner role, this position offers the rare chance to help define, shape and influence both the role itself and the support we provide across the organisation.

We are looking for an experienced, credible and commercially minded HR professional who thrives on variety, challenge and partnership working. This is not a role for someone seeking a narrow specialist remit or a predictable routine. No two days are the same. One day you could be supporting a complex employee relations case, the next leading a strategic workforce planning discussion with senior leaders, facilitating organisational change, supporting service redesign or developing OD solutions to improve workforce performance and experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
