HR Business Partner – 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Location: London – Hybrid
About the Role
Join a growing international organisation and work at its core, partnering with global functions and shaping people initiatives during an exciting phase of expansion in London.
As the HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, coach, and HR subject matter expert, delivering end-to-end HR partnership across all key areas—with a primary focus on supporting global roles and functions.
The role ensures high-quality HR support throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including:
- Organisational effectiveness
- Workforce planning
- Talent management
- Change support
You will collaborate closely with Global HR teams and senior stakeholders to drive impactful decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership:
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor to leaders, offering pragmatic, business-aligned HR guidance.
- Represent and embed HR strategy consistently across the London workforce.

Global HR Alignment:
- Partner with Global HR Centres of Excellence and Shared Services to deliver global HR policies, frameworks, and programs.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues worldwide to ensure seamless execution of global HR initiatives.

Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to UK employment law, internal governance standards, and HR reporting requirements.
- Contribute to HR governance, policies, and practices aligned with global standards.

Leadership Support:
- Coach and advise leaders on:
- People management
- Organisational design
- Performance and engagement

Change & Transformation:
- Support restructures, role transitions, and transformative initiatives affecting global teams.
- Facilitate global HR programs locally—including culture, engagement, performance management, talent, and rewards.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and key HR stakeholders.
- Communicate HR policies, principles, and standards clearly to driveresponsible management decisions.

Continuous Improvement:
- Drive HR service excellence and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure consistent application of statutory obligations, internal controls, and company policies.
Minimum Requirements

Proven Experience:
- 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role within a multinational, matrixed organisation.
- Experience supporting global roles and/or global functions.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.

- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Exceptional coaching, influencing, and communication abilities.
- Autonomy and adaptability—capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clearActionable insights.
- Solution-oriented, process-driven mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
