# Site HR Business Partner

— Permanent — Severnside

At Müller, we’re passionate about creating a better dairy future and bringing people together to achieve great things. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment to drive performance, engagement and wellbeing across the site.


About the Role

You’ll act as a strategic HR Business Partner, deeply embedded in the operational ecosystem, to advocate for people and organizations at Severnside.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Partner closely with senior leaders to shape people priorities and drive impactful people plans
    • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, organisational change, recruitment, and colleague development
  • Analytics & Decision Making

    • Use HR data and insights to inform key decisions and improve performance/KPIs
    • Own workforce intelligence, including predictions, planning, and strategic talent management
  • Structure & Talent

    • Lead workforce planning, talent planning, succession planning, and organisation design
    • Balance short-term requirements with long-term strategy, ensuring seamless scalability
  • Inclusion, Engagement & Culture

    • Champion a positive, inclusive culture and drive initiatives for engagement and wellbeing

  • Operational Excellence

    • Build and sustain effective industrial relations with trade union partners
    • Ensure legality, ethical compliance, and risk management across all HR functions
  • Team Leadership

    • Lead, coach, and develop a small HR team
    • Foster a collaborative project-based environment focused on achieving business and people objectives

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring a combination of HR expertise, analytical savvy, and operational agility.

  • Expertise & Knowledge

    • Proven HR expertise with deep understanding of employment law and HR metrics
    • Experience in unionised environments and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
    • Strong grasp of workforce planning, organisation design, and effective change management.
    • Leadership experience in managing a small team while promoting growth and development
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

    • Strong analytical thinking able to translate insights into action
    • Experience utilizing data-driven decision-making processes to enhance HR strategies
