HR Business Partner (Technology & Transformation)

About the Role

This HR Business Partner role presents a great opportunity to work within the Technology & Transformation business during a growing and exciting period.

The role will partner with a specific group of stakeholders to grow and develop business capabilities. In this capacity, you will drive end-to-end HR solutions aligned with the broader T&T, HR, and People & Purpose strategy.


Responsibilities

Core Accountabilities

  • Deliver HR business partnering to an Offering Portfolio within Technology and Transformation (T&T), closely aligning with Senior HRBP and broader business priorities.
  • Partner directly with two Offering Leadership Teams (LTs), acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the people agenda.
  • Act as the primary contact point for all core HR cyclical activities (e.g., performance management, promotions, talent reviews, reward, engagement) for each LT and senior stakeholders, with Senior HRBP oversight for complex cases and business-wide activity.
  • Contribute to Offering LT discussions by:
    • Proactively surfacing people insights, risks, and opportunities.
    • Building relationships across offerings, offering challenge, coaching, and guidance on people matters.
  • Use data and analytics to:
    • Generate actionable insights.
    • Identify key trends.
    • Inform business decision-making.
  • Drive delivery of:
    • HR cyclical processes (e.g., performance management, promotions, talent review).
    • Strategic initiatives (reward, engagement).
  • Ensure end-to-end execution of HR processes, collaborating with:
    • Centres of Excellence (CoEs).
    • HR Operations.
    • Shared services.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in HR process delivery within T&T.
  • Support the Senior HRBP in T&T talent strategy, translating it into clear, actionable plans for the Offering Portfolio.
  • Collaborate across HR functions (HRD, CoEs, Operations) to ensure aligned people strategy delivery.
  • Monitor and manage people risks, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and escalate where necessary.
  • Operate effectively within a complex matrixed environment, tailoring approaches to meet diverse business needs.

Requirements & Skills

Professional Experience & Knowledge

  • Relevant HR generalist experience, including roles as a HR Business Partner (HRBP) or in specialist HR functions.
  • Proven track record of:
    • Ownership and delivery of HR business partnering for a defined client group.
    • Accountability for outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, including the ability to:
    • Tailor communication techniques for senior stakeholder groups.
    • Earn trust quickly using clear, commercial language.
    • Challenge effectively while providing aligned support.
  • Experience working in a:
    • Highly commercial, fast-paced, complex, and transformative environment.
    • Proactive and customer-centric HR advisory capacity.
  • Balanced strong decision-making with pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
  • Delivery-focused mindset, ensuring the customer's experience remains central.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed, and change-driven environment.
  • Strong Excel proficiency—capacity to interpret data, spot trends, and make confident, informed decisions.

Education & Qualifications

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is a beneficial strong bonus though not mandatory.
