HR Business Partner – Technology & Transformation (T&T)
About the Role

This HR Business Partner (HRBP) role is a great opportunity to work with the Technology & Transformation (T&T) business in a growing and exciting period of change. The role partner’s with stakeholders to foster business capabilities while driving end-to-end solutions aligned to the T&T, HR, and People & Purpose strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver HR Business Partnering in T&T
- Work closely with the Senior HRBP to align HR strategy with broader business priorities.
- Partner directly with two Offering Leadership Teams (LTs) within T&T, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the people agenda.
- Serve as the primary contact for LTs and stakeholders for all HR cyclical activities (e.g., performance management, reviews, rewards).
- Oversee complex cases with escalation through the Senior HRBP while handling business-wide activities.
Drive Strategic & Operational HR Processes
- Contribute to LT discussions, proactively surfacing people insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Build strong cross-Offering relationships, providing challenge, coaching, and guidance on people matters.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends and inform business decisions.
- Execute core HR cyclical and strategic processes (e.g., performance management, promotions, talent reviews, engagement activities).
- Lead end-to-end delivery of HR processes, collaborating with Centres of Excellence (CoEs), HR Operations, and shared services.
- Identify and drive continuous process improvement in HR operations within T&T.
Support & Foster Talent Strategy
- Assist the Senior HRBP in T&T’s talent strategy by translating strategic initiatives into actionable plans for the Offering Portfolio.
- Collaborate across HR (HRD, CoEs, Operations) to ensure delivery alignment.

Manage Risk & Drive Impact
- Monitor and manage people risks within the offering, escalating issues proactively as needed.
- Operate effectively within a complex, matrixed environment, adapting approaches to meet varied business needs.
Requirements & Key Skills
Professional Experience & HR Expertise
- Proven HR generalist knowledge gained in a HR Business Partner or specialist HR capacity.
- Experience in owning HR business partnering for a defined client group, with accountability for outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated insight into working in a highly commercial, fast-paced, transformative environment.
Relationship & Leadership Skills
- Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities, tailoring communication to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to provide proactive, customer-centric HR advice, balancing consistency with pragmatic commercial decisions.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced matrix environment, collaborating on change initiatives while delivering daily business outputs.
Data & Analytical Competence
- Strong Excel skills; ability to analyse data, spot trends, and make considered, confident decisions quickly.
Qualifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
- CIPD qualification (or recognized equivalent) is desirable.
