Location: Solihull Contract: Flexible (2 days on-site per week) Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits
About the Role
Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking to join a successful SME and play a key role in supporting an organisation’s people strategy? We are seeking someone passionate about blending strategic HR leadership with operational execution to drive organisational success.
This is an ideal opportunity if you thrive in a dynamic environment where a diverse set of challenges can be addressed as part of a collaborative HR team. Balancing people projects with hands-on HR delivery, you will act as a trusted advisor to VP’s and Heads of Department, ensuring both strategic and operational HR needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
As HR Business Partner, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders to drive:
- Workforce planning
- Organisation design
- Capability development
- Coach and develop managers to:
- Enhance leadership capability
- Improve performance
- Lead and support talent initiatives, including:
- Succession planning
- Performance management
- Career development
- Support recruitment and retention strategies to attract and engage top talent
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive culture
- Contribute to HR process improvement projects aimed at optimising:
- Systems
- Employee experience

Requirements
- Experience as an HR Business Partner in a SME environment, thriving in a flexible dual role balancing strategic and operational HR
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to executive and management stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workforce planning
- Organisation design
- Talent development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with employees at all levels
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging employee experience
