About The Role
The HR Business Partner role at Roeks Avenue is a vital position designed to support and influence the company's HR strategies across the UK and Ireland. This is a broad generalist position that combines strategic partnership with operational HR support, aimed at fostering a positive employee experience and driving organizational success. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and managers, providing expert guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, change management, and organizational development initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape HR practices within a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining a focus on employee engagement and well-being. The position requires a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who can navigate complex situations with confidence and professionalism.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years' experience in an HR Business Partner or similar generalist role, demonstrating success in supporting employee relations, organizational change, and HR operations. A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential. Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Workday, is required, along with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience is preferred, underscoring a commitment to professional development. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and demonstrate a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and build strong relationships across various levels of the organization is critical.

Responsibilities
- HR Business Partnering: Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees, collaborating on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives. Coach managers to enhance decision-making and minimize HR risks. Support business change initiatives and organizational development activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, positioning HR as a trusted partner within the organization.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution. Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal policies. Support managers in managing complex employee issues with confidence, fairness, and commercial awareness. Identify potential risks and escalate appropriately, maintaining pragmatic and legally compliant solutions.
- Employee Experience & Engagement: Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and cultivating a positive workplace culture. Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, promoting open communication and inclusivity. Contribute to creating an environment that values diversity and fosters collaboration across teams.
- HR Operations & Systems: Support core HR processes such as payroll, benefits administration, and employee data management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maintain comprehensive HR records and generate reports using Workday and other HR systems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with colleagues to enhance HR service delivery.
- Change Management & Organizational Development: Assist in managing organizational change projects, restructuring, and transformation initiatives. Support leaders in navigating change effectively and contribute to organizational design efforts that align with strategic business goals.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Promote DE&I initiatives across recruitment, development, and engagement activities. Foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, ensuring all employees feel respected and valued within the organization.
