About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to support employees and leaders across the UK and Ireland. This role is a broad generalist position that combines strategic business partnering with hands-on operational HR support. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Director and senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. You will be responsible for providing pragmatic HR solutions, managing employee relations, supporting organizational change initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement. This role requires someone who is adaptable, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, balancing commercial needs with a focus on employee experience. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence HR practices within a growing organization and to contribute to its ongoing success and development.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years' HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist role. A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential. Candidates should have proven success in managing employee relations cases and leading organizational change initiatives. A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience is preferred. Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Workday, is required. The candidate must demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, effective communication abilities, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. A proactive attitude, coupled with strong organizational skills, will be critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering:

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the UK and Ireland.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
  • Coach managers to support effective decision-making and minimize people-related risks.
  • Support business change initiatives and organizational development activities.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and position HR as a trusted business partner.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support managers in handling complex employee issues with confidence, fairness, and commercial awareness.
  • Identify and escalate risks appropriately, maintaining a pragmatic approach.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Support initiatives that promote employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers.
  • Contribute to the development of an inclusive and collaborative working environment.

HR Operations & Systems

  • Support HR processes including payroll, benefits administration, and employee data management.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting through Workday and other HR systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiencies, and ways of working.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency across HR activities.

Change Management & Organizational Development

  • Support organizational change projects and restructuring activities.
  • Assist leaders in navigating periods of change and business transformation.
  • Contribute to organization design initiatives that align people structures with business goals.

  • Support DE&I initiatives across recruitment, development, and engagement activities.
  • Promote an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and experiences.
