Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished HR Business Partner with organisational design and change management experience to lead and support end-to-end HR change initiatives across the organisation for a 6-month fixed term contract. This pivotal role involves managing complex projects, ensuring rigorous governance, and driving successful organisational change. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and HR partners to deliver strategic projects that enhance our operating models and organisational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR change projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget, while maintaining rigorous governance and controls.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, including HR and business leaders, to shape, influence, and implement change initiatives.
- Develop and execute communication and training strategies to support organisational change and embedding new operating models.
- Produce comprehensive project documentation, including stakeholder packs, solution designs, and data analysis reports.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track.
- Support organisational design reviews and restructures aligned with strategic goals.
- Utilise HR analytics and diagnostics to identify improvement opportunities and inform project decisions.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, processes, and legal requirements throughout project delivery.

Work Arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. During this 6-month fixed term contract based in Tunbridge Wells, you'll work at least two days a week away from home, moving to three days a week from 1 December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing HR organisational design and change projects.
- Understanding and utilisation of project management methodologies and controls preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret HR analytics, recognise trends, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills, pragmatism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coaching managers through change and embedding new operating models.
- Knowledge of HR policies, processes, and legal implications.
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
