HR Business Partner / People Business Partner

Milton Keynes Hybrid Working (3 days onsite) Stand-alone role | 8% Bonus | Car allowance

The Opportunity

As a HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across two key divisions, partnering closely to deliver strategic and operational People initiatives.

You’ll play a pivotal role in enabling business performance through exceptional people practices, driving engagement, supporting transformation, and ensuring a high-performing, compliant workforce across the UK and Ireland.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with business leaders to align People strategies with commercial objectives
  • Lead key People processes including:
    • Performance management
    • Workforce & succession planning
    • Talent development and leadership reviews
    • Salary and reward cycles
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including:
    • Disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
    • Performance and capability management
    • Employment law compliance (UK & Ireland)
  • Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures, M&A activity, and organisational design
  • Champion employee engagement and enhance the overall employee experience
  • Collaborate with global and central People teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end HR services
  • Drive governance processes including approvals, reporting, and compliance frameworks
  • Deliver data-driven insights through reporting and analytics
  • Support onboarding and integration of new hires, including early careers talent
  • Lead and implement strategic People initiatives across the region

What We’re Looking for

Experience & Expertise

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role
  • Must have experience working in an international, matrix environment
  • Strong background in employee relations and operational HR
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish (and ideally UK) employment law
  • Experience across core HR disciplines; Performance management, Talent acquisition, Compensation & benefits, and Learning & development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent)
