HR Business Partner

HR Advisor

Reports to: Business and Operations Director Department: HR Location: Neasden Head Office Contract: Full time, hybrid (1 day from home per week) Application deadline: 10th July 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join us in a versatile and progressive role. In collaboration with the Business & Operations Director and our external HR Consultant, you will support senior leaders, managers, and employees while shaping and strengthening our people, practices, and culture.

This is an ideal opportunity for a CIPD Level 5 (or above) HR professional with a focus on relationship-building, trusted communication, and multi-faceted HR support. While the role starts at an Advisor level, we are looking for an individual with strong leadership potential, ambition, and capability to progress into a more senior HR advisor role within the business over time.


Job Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational HR Support

  • Work closely with the Business & Operations Director and HR Consultant to advise on HR strategy.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Provide guidance to senior leaders and managers on people-related matters, forecasting and resource planning.
  • Proactively identify training needs, programmes, and development opportunities across the business.
  • Manage employee training, coordinating agreements, scheduling time off, and follow-ups.
  • Support workforce planning and recruitment, collaborating with the Director to establish skills and resource requirements.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures remain up-to-date and compliant with evolving legislation.

Employee Relations & Communication

  • Resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with the Business & Operations Director and HR Consultant.
  • Establish and maintain a strong internal communication system, including company updates, legislative changes, and people developments.
  • Identify HRIS enhancements and support new system features for improved efficiency.

Direct Employee Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR and employee relations queries.
  • Provide daily HR support and guidance across all business levels.
  • Prepare and manage employment documentation (contracts, letters, correspondence) while ensuring compliance.
  • Work with managers and employees on performance management and general people matters.

Administrative & Compliance Roles

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records according to regulatory and company standards.
  • Manage the HRIS, guaranteeing data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring HR and payroll data alignment by working closely with payroll teams.
  • Support the Talent Business Partner in recruitment activities (interviews, selection processes) and onboarding while enforcing post-employment probationary processes.
  • Coordinate offboarding efforts, involving IT and Business Operations Directorship.
  • Oversee compliance-related records, including risk assessments, first aid, and fire safety protocols.

About You

Professional & Experience Requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent training).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HR Advisor or Professional role, ideally within a small or mid-sized growing business.
  • Demonstrated ability to rise to responsibility, embrace professional growth, and proactively contribute to business furtherance.

Core Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong grasp of employment legislation and adhering to best HR practises.
  • Expertise in HRIS and Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with respect to trust-building, relationship management, and collaboration at all organisational levels.
  • Independence with an ability to decide with initiative but ask for guidance where required.
  • Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving ability and projects finished hands-on.
