We are a top ten accountancy firm in the UK and are the number one largest SME practice. For our region around the Cardiff office we are currently recruiting for a People Business Partner to join our team, reporting to the Senior People Business Partner.

Day to day duties

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to implement the People Strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and priorities.
  • Actively work with senior leaders to promote Azets’ core values and organisational culture, embedding these values into all people-related initiatives and processes.
  • Lead the execution of talent management strategies, including talent identification, succession planning, and leadership development, aligned with the business’s growth ambitions.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. Act as a change agent to enhance employee experience and satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support in organisational change projects, restructuring, and M&A activities, ensuring smooth transitions and successful integration of talent and culture.
  • Partner with the Centres of Excellence to deliver best practices and solutions that meet business and people needs.

What are we looking for?

Experience

  • Experience in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role, with a proven track record of strategic HR delivery in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives, talent management, and implementing HR strategies at a senior level.
  • Experience in working with leaders and cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success through people-related initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex people issues, including organisational change and managing business performance.

Skills

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with business strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and trust with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage competing priorities effectively.
