HR Change & Transformation project lead

HR Change & Transformation Project Lead (HR / Employee Relations)

We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Change & Transformation Project Lead on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact HR transformation initiatives aligned with a global people strategy.

This is a varied and influential role, ideal for someone who thrives on leading complex change programmes, bringing together HR expertise, structured project delivery, and effective stakeholder engagement.

The Role As a Change & Transformation Project Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of people-focused change initiatives. Working closely with HR specialists and business stakeholders, you will ensure projects are effectively planned, governed, and implemented to drive meaningful organisational outcomes.

You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring clear structure, strong collaboration, and successful adoption across the business.

Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain detailed project plans, governance frameworks, and delivery roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives Lead full lifecycle delivery of HR transformation initiatives, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource planning Coordinate cross-functional HR and operational teams to ensure integrated and efficient execution Apply structured change management methodologies to support adoption and sustainability Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and organisational impacts Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure projects remain on track Advise stakeholders on project design, sequencing, and best practice approaches Develop and deliver clear communication plans to keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle Drive engagement, collaboration, and buy-in across all levels of the organisation

What you’ll need: We are looking for a highly organised and strategic HR professional with a strong background in HR transformation and employee relations.

You will bring: Extensive experience delivering complex HR and change programmes Strong knowledge of project management approaches and tools A solid understanding and work history of Employee Relations and core HR processes Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts A proactive, resilient, and detail-oriented approach
