Description
HR & Compliance Administrator (Part-Time)
Silverstone & Moulton Park, Northampton
£29,000 - £32,000 FTE | Permanent | Flexible Part-Time Hours
Looking for a role that fits around school runs or offers genuine part-time flexibility?
Whether you're returning to work after raising a family, looking to reduce your hours, or simply searching for a varied role that offers a better work-life balance, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
We're recruiting on behalf of two successful manufacturing businesses within the same group, and we're looking for an organised, proactive administrator to support HR, Compliance and Business Operations across both sites.
This isn't a traditional HR role, and you don't need experience in every aspect of the job.
Full training will be provided.
What matters most is your attitude. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, can work independently and is happy travelling between two friendly, supportive sites.
- Flexible part-time hours that can work around school runs and family commitments.
- Genuine variety - no two days are the same.
- Full training and support from the current HR & Compliance Administrator before they leave.
- Opportunity to develop new skills across HR, Compliance, Health & Safety and Business Operations.
- Long-term career progression as the business continues to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
